Apple has released an update for the Apple Watch’s operating system, with watchOS 2.1 focused on making the wearable more multicultural.

Introducing new features and a number of fixes to the market-leading smartwatch, the watchOS 2.1 patch, which is available to download from today (December 8), includes support for a number of new languages.

Bolstering the Apple Watch’s language skills, Arabic, Czech, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Malay, Portuguese (Portugal) and Vietnamese support have all been added in the update.

This is just the tip of the multicultural iceberg, too.

The techy timepiece now hosts the ability to switch between Latin and Hindi numerals, while Siri has gained dictation support in a number of new tongues.

Away from languages, the watchOS 2.1 update has added fixes for calendar, power reserve, and third-party app support issues.
