The LG G5 spoilers look set to continue right up to launch, as the South Korean firm has just revealed the device’s official casing.
The Quick Cover accessory adds a protective layer of semitransparent mesh metal to the handset, with an opening at the top to display notifications.
LG’s 2016 flagship phone will respond to touch even when its cover is closed, allowing users to answer or reject calls.
Earlier this week, LG confirmed that the G5 will feature an always-on screen that continues to display information in battery-saving black pixels when the device is switched off.
It’s also been rumoured that the G5 will sport an overhauled design that includes a retractable tray for a removable battery, metallic build, and a fingerprint scanner.
The Android handset will be announced at the company’s pre MWC 2016 press conference on February 21, the same day the Samsung Galaxy S7 is due to be unveiled.
