How to set up turtle beach x31 to viewsonic monitor?

I am wondering if there are any ways you can set up the x31 to viewsonic monitor.
Is it possible to get an audio splitter and hook it in to the audio in? because i am going to be using an hdmi cable for my xbox 360 to my viewsonic monitor.

Just attach the TB to the XBox. If the HDMI interferes, pick up an XBox Audio Dongle from Microsoft.
