LG is dishing out tasty treats to G4 owners in Europe as reports suggest that Android Marshmallow is rolling out to the handset.

According to Android Central, users across the continent are claiming that the latest Google operating system has landed on their device.

Marshmallow brings a number of improvements to the G4, including a simplified app settings page and the addition of silent mode to sound profiles.

Post update, apps will request access after being installed and LG Bridge will be renamed LG Airdrive.

It was announced in October that the LG G4 would be the first third-party handset to receive the Marshmallow handset over the air.

There is no word on a specific UK rollout date, but Brits are expected to receive it after their European neighbours.
