Samsung is working on a whopping 18.4-inch tablet to rival the iPad Pro, and the Android-powered slate has just shown its sizeable face online.

The ever-reliable Evleaks has shared leaked photographs of the Galaxy View, complete with a Microsoft Surface-like kickstand attached.

 

Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy View will pack a Exynos 7580 SoC chipset, a Full HD resolution display, 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and microSD support.

A WiFi-only model will join the flagship slate on the market, providing a cheaper alternative to the 4G version.

Samsung confirmed the existence of the device with a teaser campaign last month, but is yet to confirm when it’s due to break cover.

Large-screen tablets are in fashion right now, with even Google also getting in on the act with the stock Android-running Pixel C.
