Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10532 now available to Fast ring users

A new Windows 10 Preview build has begun rolling out through Windows Update to all Insider Preview members in the Fast ring. The update to Windows 10, build 10532, includes several new features that Preview members can test ahead of their release to the wider public.

The main new feature in build 10532 is a visual overhaul of context menus. Microsoft received feedback that indicated the style of context menus wasn’t consistent with Windows 10’s general look and feel, so the company has updated these menus with a more modern design.

Build 10532 also brings improvements to the Windows Feedback app, allowing users to share their feedback with others through social media and the Insider forums. Developers will also be glad to know that Microsoft’s Edge web browser includes a stack of new EdgeHTML and Chakra rendering engine features.

There are a couple of issues with build 10532, which is why Microsoft has restricted its release to the Fast ring only. According to Microsoft, Windows Hello face sign-in “will not work on this build with some devices”, while an issue where the 64-bit variant of Google Chrome will crash on launch hasn’t been resolved from the previous Insider Preview build.

Users currently running the Windows 10 Insider Preview should now be able to download build 10532 through Windows Update, provided they are in the Fast ring.
